di.fm – electronic music online radio station

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

I’ve been SO busy lately, but I’ve resolved from now on to try and write in my blog at least once a week – you know – so that my grandchildren can one day gawk at what a colossal geek I was, and so that some of the outrageous stories that I tell them through my old-people-drug-induced blabbering will stand up to scrutiny. Anyhow – not much time these days as I just iterated, so I’ll get down to brass tacks.

Listen:

www.di.fm

My favourite channel is probably vocal trance, but if you like electronic music at all, and you seem to have developed a psychic ability that allows you to predict the next song on your play list even if it’s set to “shuffle” – then check out these stations.

Also giving a shoutout to my buddy Patrick Mai and udancecn.com; this online radio station is also worth checking out if you like electronic music:

Happy listening!

Radiation Poisoning – Walking Ghost Phase

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

A rather interesting characteristic of radiation poisoning is a phenomenon known as the “walking ghost phase” – this is a period of relatively good health that follows initially harsh symptoms of fatal level radiation poisoning. Upon conclusion of the walking ghost phase, the poisoned person can look forward to a painful death that is marked by delirium followed by a terminal coma. One of the drawbacks of radiological weapons (such as the neutron bomb) is that upon realizing its sealed fate, a radiation poisoned army would almost certainly fight fanatically during the week or so in which the walking ghost phase occurs.
