My parents took there cat (while it was still alive) and current dog when they do there mexico/calgary trek twice a year. The animal stays in a traveling bag (on the persons lap or under the seat), and is restricted to a pretty reasonable weight (we aren&#039;t talking about hound dogs here). Passengers pay a fee to bring the pet onboard. I think generally most people are not that upset about the decision, and although it can reduce the happiness for some people (such as yourself), it is a huge relieve for pet owners (these pet owners aren&#039;t hippies, they are retiring baby boomers). I&#039;m all for it, suck it up bitch ;)</description>
